Dance Daptive Program!
The Dance-Daptive program has started and it is incredible. We have been so graciously blessed by Adage Dance Center and it's proprietor Allison Gladney, for opening their door to us, giving us a home space, providing an instructor, and welcoming our students as one of their own.
For those new to the program, our Dance-Daptive program is currently a weekly 45 minute dance class, instructed by competitive dancer: Sophia Urbina, and aided by our clinicians. The program so far has included movements and styles that are common to competitive and recreational dance, with a mix of fun and exciting music, and a little bounce around flare.
Our plans for the program include expanding to an adult and a children's class. We have hopes of finding a method to include company dancers in the mix, and we have plans to have our members participate in the annual Adage Showcase along with the rest of the studio's dancers!

Sophia Urbina

"Hi! My name is Sophia Urbina. I am 17 years old and I have been dancing since I was 5! I have been with Adage Dance center since I was 10 years old. I joined their competition team a year later and have been with it ever since.
I enjoy assisting my own instructors and love working with kids. After high school I want to continue teaching dance, and one day own my own business."

Her studio has become a beacon for aspiring dancers, nurturing their talents and aspirations. With a career steeped in dedication, creativity, and a profound love for the art of dance, Allison Gladney stands as an inspirational figure in the world of performing arts, both as a seasoned professional and as the driving force behind Adage Dance Center.
