Finding Inspiration Everywhere, in Everyone
Fitable is a program under the Brave Minds umbrella. Brave Minds, and FitAble within it, is a 501 C (3) organization created to support and advocate for individuals diagnosed with developmental and mental health disorders.

With FitAble, we are focused on providing services exclusively to our population with developmental and neurodivergent diagnoses.
​
"The FitAble Equation" is one that is simple. With the help of our staff trained in special education, behavioral analysis, and adaptive physical training, we go to established and reputable fitness and art spaces, willing to work with our population, and co-program classes that are suitable for our students while providing an experience that is unique to their specific art or movement. We provide a branch from our population to the endless variety and options of classes, sports, hobbies, passions, and lifestyles that many of us without these diagnoses take for granted.

Very soon, with hard work, the right support, and a ingenuity we plan to start flipping that equation on its head. Coming soon, we will be unveiling plans to acquire our own location, and bring those professionals in to us.

Our Story
The FitAble program was created by Ryan Castillo and Angelica Garcia, who just so happen to be Mr. and Mrs. Castillo Garcia very soon! Both are educated and trained in applied behavioral analysis as well as adaptive fitness. A state certified behaviorist, and credentialed special education teacher, respectively, these two have a passion for both fitness and advocacy. They are Spartan DEKA world championship contenders, fitness programmers, and ice cream connoisseurs!
With a collective 20 years in education and behavioral analysis, the founders of FitAble have set out to fill a void and need for engaging programs that are both affordable and readily available to special needs families. Using that passion for fitness and pairing that with their experience and expertise in behavior FitAble was born.
With programs planned to span from dance to yoga, from painting to spartan races, FitAble has started to craft a formula that we hope will span a very long time, and give a great many people an opportunity to be part of something big and vast: All of Us.
